UPDATE-July 6, 2011: CHARCUT is launching a lunch food truck to peddle the famous alley burgers. To find out where the truck will be parked around Calgary, follow updates on Twitter and Facebook. The menu will also include hand-cut duck fat-fried potatoes and poutine with Quebec cheese curds.

I must have had an experience a long time ago that left me thinking they’re all overpriced and mediocre. I got shaken out of that bubble when Thomsons Restaurant in the Hyatt Regency recently started holding contests on Twitter. For a chance [...] A soon-to-be opening place called loungeburger has been drumming up buzz on Twitter. It just tweeted about a party tomorrow (Saturday, Aug. 29) between noon and 4 p.m. in the lobby of Stampede Station at 13th Avenue and Macleod Trail S.W. I would hope they’re serving burgers!
