I have a family in New Brunswick I had not seen in several years. They adopted me when I first worked there, taking me sailing, cross-country skiing and on road trips. They also like to feed me. Man, sometimes I wish I lived in the ’60s, slaving over the stove in an apron and perfectly coiffed hair, whipping up devilled eggs and wowing my dinner guests. Oh wait, I can do still do that now. (This is Jason’s mom’s devilled eggs and her mom’s plate.) |
