I got an email a few weeks ago from the manager of Fire Kirin in the Avenida Mall inviting me to try a tasting menu. In return, they wanted my honest feedback. A fair deal, I figured, so southward we went. (I keep forgetting how close this is to Southcentre Mall, but I digress.) Named after [...] Part of the fun in trying restaurants is venturing into newer parts of Calgary. Located in Quarry Park — which still doesn’t fully register on Google Maps or GPS — Colonial Fusion was a bit tricky to find directions for, but it turned out to be pretty straight-forward (Deerfoot to 24 Street East to 107 [...] UPDATE May 2009: Zen Fine Chinese Cuisine is now closed.
