It started off as a joke. But the more times we heard and saw the word “prorogue” this morning — and believe me that’s a lot in a newsroom — the more we envisioned a warm, solid plate of perogies for lunch as the country falls apart around us. Or as Perez Hilton calls it, [...] Take one friend from Toronto, a sunny afternoon and a few visits to some of our favourite food stores and voilà: one indoor picnic.
The best part of this meal is none of us had to do any cooking. From the cramped Kalamata Grocery for all your Greek needs, we got garlic-stuffed olives, tapenade and fresh [...] Eleven City Diner started off in my good books when an Epstein-lookalike wearing a pork pie hat greeted us at the door.
