I’ll keep this one short and sweet. Things I liked about Six Acres pub in Gastown:

  • Nice staff
  • Cute menu covers made from old hardcover books
  • Large and unique beer selection
  • Looking out at Gassy Jack‘s backside as the sun set
  • Big windows

What I didn’t like about Six Acres:

  • World’s worst charcuterie plate ($12.95): 3 slices of bland warm asiago cheese, some very fatty bland salami, a grilled artichoke and a clump of olive tapenade.

Six Acres, 203 Carrall St., Vancouver, (604) 488-0110. Open Monday to Saturday 5 p.m.-1 a.m. Closed Sundays.
