CALGARY: Crave ice cream sandwiches

Cupcakes melt fast when it’s hot out. So I was curious to try Crave’s new ice cream sandwiches

They’re made to order using Crave’s fresh-baked double chocolate or chocolate chunk cookies, and homemade vanilla bean ice cream. I got one of both (for the sake of research).

It’s sort of a “can’t lose” purchase. Ice cream, good. Cookies, good. They’re not cheap at $4 each, but they are pretty big.

Crave’s cupcakes obviously get the spotlight but they make some good, fresh, slightly chewy cookies too. I liked the chocolate chunk one slightly better than the double chocolate.
