CALGARY: Seoul Korean BBQ

I love Korean barbecue, especially when it’s all-you-can-eat. If you’ve never been, it basically consists of meats like short ribs, beef, chicken or seafood that are marinated (usually in soy sauce, suger, vinegar, chiles and garlic) and ready to grill at your own table.

I think I found one of the best setups in Calgary at Seoul Korean BBQ. It’s big enough for groups and families, and most importantly has the best ventilation system in the city for this kind of thing. (Though I’m not saying you’ll leave smelling like a rose.) Alternatively, you can choose for the kitchen to do the cooking for you.

Seoul does all-you-can-eat on Tuesdays and Thursdays for $25, but the regular menu has lots to offer if you can only go on other days. I wrote about it more here.
