I’m really glad you guys are enjoying this one, because I did have fun doing it. The reason it took so long was because I was missing a day, which I had to make up later. (Editorial licence!)

Shokutsu: Yes, the original challenge was based on $10/day but I didn’t want it to be that stringent, hence the $70 for seven days to give me a little leeway.

Not that you need any more positive feedback, but as usual, great article. When I first saw your title, i assumed Pho was in there. Im pleasantly surprised you did $70 a week without it.

Impressive completion of a difficult challenge! Especially in light of the astronomical prices one finds in Calgary these days. Great variety throughout the week, so certainly it couldn’t have been a chore to muddle through the seven days.

Just guessing here, but assume the $70 limit was made to try and keep it at ten bucks a day?

Would love to see you do this in other cities!
