Oh it’s been a tiring few weeks. Not enough… energy… to write. But I can still click and read! Here are random blogs I’ve been perusing. Some parts helpful and one part curry. Enjoy!
Patent and the Pantry: “I like high heels. I like to cook. Sometimes I like to cook in my high heels,” explains Gwendolyn of her blog. Great pics, step-by-step recipes and the stories behind them.
Dinner with Julie: Calgary food writer Julie Van Rosendaal chronicles a year in her kitchen. Get over your weekday dinner hump.
Food Bytes: CBCNews.ca’s new food blog. The food industry, trends, culture, nutrition and some amuse-bouches thrown in. (Full disclosure: I punch the ole timecard for them.)
Deep End Dining: What I wish I could eat (the very, very uncommon) and how I wish I could write (very, very witty). One day, I will find a balut, and that day I’ll probably chicken out of eating it.
Dodgy Curry: I don’t know who Ren and Matt are but they like curry, and are willing to go to every corner of Calgary to try it. They remind me of a couple who’ve been married too long. They’re fun writers, and I’ll even forgive them the blue and green font.
